ABOUT ADVANCED ENCAUSTIC MONOTYPES IN SANTA FE | This new 4-Day class is offered to meet some of the needs of the growing numbers of encaustic printmakers. It will address skills that build upon the basic techniques covered in Paula’s workshops and DVD’s, drawing upon her 16+ years of experience working in, and teaching, the process. New material will be presented and previously taught techniques will be expanded upon. Specific techniques taught are based upon students’ needs and goals (a questionnaire will be sent to you). Demonstrations will be presented in the mornings and throughout the day as needed, but most afternoons will be devoted to studio work-time with Paula present and available. Participants are encouraged to focus on chosen projects.  Classes are from 9 AM to 4 PM with the studio open to you after hours. In this class, you are encouraged to think expansively about monotype printing, format of works, and integration with content.

Those who have not are asked to submit qualifications and work samples (digital).
